Brian Greer’s Tin Ceilings is extremely happy to announce that after many years of negotiations, in September of 2017 Canada entered into a Free Trade agreement with the European Union (CETA).  We at Brian Greer’s Tin Ceilings have enjoyed working with our partners in the EU for many decades, on both residential and commercial projects, and we are excited, and proud to enter into a new era of free trade with our European friends!

We have researched the agreement to ensure that our company, and the tin ceiling tiles, moldings, fillers and cornices that we manufacture are CETA compliant and eligible for free trade under this agreement.  All of our European orders will now contain a “Declaration of Origin” document that can be used by our EU customers to provide proof to their local customs office that our products are of Canadian origin, and thus eliminate duties when filing for customs clearance.  For any specific questions regarding CETA, and how it applies in your country, please refer questions to your local customs department.  As well be sure to check with your local customs office to determine if any additional documentation may be required from your end, in addition to the paperwork that we provide with the shipment.

We believe that open trade borders are a benefit to all, and we welcome this new era of free trade with our friends in the EU.  We look forward to working closely with you for many years to come!
